Actuarial firms merge to form The Actuarial Advantage

Actuarial firms The Actuarial Advantage and Financial Risk Analysts have merged operations to form a company that operates under the name The Actuarial Advantage.

The boutique property and casualty actuarial and insurance consulting firm merged in early 2021 and serves a variety of clients including captives, having served more than 100 captive clients in both on and offshore domiciles.

It also serves traditional insurance companies, government risk pools, public entities, self-insureds, programme managers, brokers and other professionals.

The companies stressed their compatible business models and values, making them well positioned for the merger.

The pre-merger incarnation of The Actuarial Advantage was founded in 2001 by Dennis Henry and Eric Bause, originally working primarily with government risk pools before growing into additional segments.
