Fred Karlinsky, a co-chair, insurance regulatory and transactions practice for international law firm Greenberg Traurig PA, will make a presentation on captive insurance part of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) webcast beginning at 12pm EST on 1 December.
Karlinsky’s presentation is titled Captive Insurance: Business and US Regulatory Considerations.
He will describe how captive insurance is a growing trend among companies looking to control and manage insurance costs by participating in the losses incurred with regard to insurance claims and payments.
The presentation will also explore the costs and benefits of captive insurance companies for business, as well as give an overview of the evolving regulatory standards.
Karlinsky is also a shareholder at the government law and policy group. As co-chair, insurance regulatory and transactions practice, he represents insurers, reinsurers, producers and other insurance interests throughout the US and internationally in a wide variety of business, operational, regulatory, transactional and governmental matters.
