SRS reveals new MD & head of ART

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has announced that Chris Terry will join the firm 19 April 2027, as managing director and head of alternative risk transfer (ART) and risk strategy.

SRS said that the appointment adds significant senior-level expertise to SRS’ risk advisory platform and supports the continued growth of its structured (re)insurance, alternative risk transfer, and risk-consulting capabilities.

Terry joins SRS from Allianz Commercial, where he previously served as the global head of underwriting for ART.

Working closely with Derek Bridgeman and the SRS Europe leadership team, Terry will help shape the strategic direction of the firm’s risk advisory business, enhancing its ability to provide independent advice to clients with complex risk-financing needs. As part of the transition, he will assume responsibility for the current book of structured (re)insurance advisory client relationships, providing continuity and building on the exceptional advisory work that has been led by Neil Campbell during his five years with SRS. He will also support SRS Titanium clients that require specialized structuring expertise.

“On a personal level, I am delighted that Chris is joining SRS. We have worked together on several transactions over the years, and I know firsthand the expertise, insight, and energy he will bring,” said Bridgeman. “Chris's decision to join SRS reflects the differentiated advisory platform we have built and the continued demand we see from complex multinational organizations seeking independent advice on risk financing. I would also like to recognize Neil Campbell for the outstanding contribution he has made over the last five years. Kathryn Anderson [Director of European Consulting], the wider team, and I have learned so much from Neil and remain hugely grateful for the support, guidance, and friendship he has shared. We are very much looking forward to welcoming Chris to SRS and working alongside him as we continue to grow and strengthen our business globally.”

The company stated that the appointment represents an important addition to SRS and demonstrates the firm’s continued investment in the people and capabilities needed to provide objective guidance, exceptional service, and lasting partnerships for its clients.
