TCIA issues appeal for 2024 Conference
The Tennessee Captive Insurance Association (TCIA) Conference Committee is calling for topic and presentation ideas for the 13th Annual TCIA Conference in Nashville, October 28-30, 2024.
The TCIA has called on prospective attendees to help by submitting their suggestions. Some general topics the TCIA would like to expand on include:
• Captive Reporting & Technology
• IRS & Tax update
• Finance Update
• Property Coverage
• Fronting: Why It's Important and What's Involved
• Creative Coverages
• Creating Value Across an Entire Enterprise Through Innovative Uses of Your Captive
• How to Promote Risk Management Programs as a Cost Savings Tool
• Navigating Captive vs. Commercial Coverage
“As we strive to create an engaging and enriching learning environment, each session must include a case study and meet Continuing Education credit criteria (CE, CPE CLE, ICCEE),” said the TCIA in a statement. “Each session will be scheduled for approximately one hour. Preference will be given to presenters who are members of TCIA. We are looking for new and creative sessions. All suggestions are welcome!”
Topic or presentation submissions must include an introduction, session description, case study, and how to utilise technology and networking.
Submissions for TCIA’s Annual Conference must be completed by March 31st.
