United Educators adds to board of directors
United Educators (UE), which provides liability insurance and risk management solutions to meet the unique needs of K-12 schools, colleges and universities in the US, has announced the election of Rajiv Shenoy to its board of directors. He will serve a three-year term.
“Rajiv brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, deep experience in education technology, and a genuine passion for advancing institutional impact,” said Rick Mills, UE’s president and chief executive. “His perspective will be invaluable as we continue evolving to meet our members’ changing needs.”
Shenoy brings more than 18 years of experience spanning education technology, institutional strategy, and enterprise transformation. His work focuses on helping large organizations unlock value through capability building and upskilling programs, as well as advising higher education leaders on institutional strategy, growth, and innovation. He also supports private equity-backed education technology companies with growth and transformation initiatives.
Since joining Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in October 2022, Shenoy has helped build BCG U, the firm’s platform for enterprise-scale capability building and transformation. He has led work at the intersection of AI transformation, strategic growth, and workforce upskilling, including executive and enterprise programs focused on artificial intelligence and generative AI.
Prior to BCG, Shenoy was founder and chief executive of Orca TV, a software business serving higher education, which was acquired by Apogee. He later held senior leadership roles at Apogee, including chief technology officer and chief evangelist. He also served as executive in residence and vice president of technology ventures at Shorelight Education.
