Alliant Insurance promotes new EVP

Louis Hefter has been promoted to the position of executive vice president at Alliant Insurance.

Based in New York City, he joined the company in February 2021 as a senior vice president. 

Hefter specialises in creating custom insurance solutions for moving & storage and warehouse & distribution (logistics) companies for 20+ years with a heavy concentration on alternative risk (captives, deductible, retrospective rating) programs.

He was previously principal at EPIC Brokers & Consultants in Pearl River, New York, from May 2006 to February 2021.

Hefter was also managing partner at property & casualty brokerage and consulting company Ross Coverage from May 2006 to October 2017.
