Alliant Insurance hires Wood from NFP

David Wood has been engaged as vice president at Alliant Insurance Property & Casualty.

Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Wood took up his new position in January of this year.

He was previously with NFP, also in Phoenix, joining the company as a managing director in June 2020, and then becoming senior vice president in July 2022.

Prior to that he was executive vice president (EVP) and head of insurance operations at USI Insurance Services, a legacy Wells Fargo Division.

Wood worked for Wells Fargo itself for fourteen years, starting off as EVP – insurance brokerage for all operations in the Western half of the US in January 2005 and was then made EVP head of insurance operations & data governor officer for Wells Fargo nationwide in December 2011, a post he held for just over seven years.
