BevCap Management taps Sedgwick for claims exec role

BevCap Management, a captive insurance management company based in Texas, has appointed Curtis Hoppe as claims and risk management executive.

BevCap's captive programmes currently consist of four homogenous group programmes: one in the beverage distribution industry, the dairy and food processing industry, the automotive services industry, and for the National Beer Wholesalers Association.

Hoppe has over 20 years of insurance industry experience, and is skilled in liability, property and casualty insurance, and workers compensation.

He joins BevCap from Sedwick, where he spend 5 years as the liability claims assistant manager for PepsiCo.

In his 12 years at Sedgwick, he was liability claims supervisor for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and senior liability claims examiner for Frito-Lay, part of PepsiCo.

Prior to Sedgwick, he was a claims examiner at Carl Warren & Company.
