Mack and Matthews retire from Montana regulator

Steve Mack and Steve Matthews have both retired from the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance, Montana's state government agency responsible for regulating the insurance and securities industries.

Matthews was chief financial examiner / captive insurance coordinator at the agency, having started at the post in March 2005.

Mack was appointed accounting supervisor at the Montana State Auditor's Office in February 2008.

In a statement on LinkedIn the agency stated: “For two decades, Steve Mack and Steve Matthews worked tirelessly serving the people of Montana and growing our state into the fifth-largest captive domicile in the nation.

“Today, we celebrated their time at our agency, the friendships we have built, and a well-deserved retirement.”
