March VCIA webinar to discuss regulatory issues

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association has shared more details of its March ‘Hot Topic’ webinar.

The webinar will be on Wednesday, March 29th, 2-3pm EST and will feature three members of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation (DFR)’s emerging captive leadership team, who will discuss the latest regulatory matters for captives in Vermont.

Christine Brown, director of Captive Insurance, Jim DeVoe Talluto Assistant Director of Captive Insurance and Heidi Rabtoy Chief Examiner, all of the DFR will be at the webinar.

In an announcement the VCIA said: “Vermont's Captive Division at DFR has led in the regulation of innovative and successful captive insurance companies since 1981, but what does effective regulation look like in 2023? Join 3 Vermont regulators, each of whom has recently assumed a new leadership role, for an engaging and informative dialogue that addresses the captive industry’s most pressing questions.”
