Montana unveils new chief examiner & captive coordinator

Kari Leonard (pictured), has been appointed chief examiner and captive insurance coordinator at the Office of the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance.

Leonard was previously deputy examinations bureau chief in Montana, a post she held from August 2020 to June 2023.

Before that she was an examiner at the Office of the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance from January 2014 until August 2020.

Prior to that Leonard was senior auditor at the Montana Department of Revenue Corporate Income Tax Division from September 1999 to January 2014.
