New head for Zurich Commercial UK’s captive team

Esme Gould has been appointed as the new head of Zurich Commercial UK’s captive team.

According to the company Gould will start at her new role from 1 April, leading the team of six captive underwriters. She will be based in London.

Gould was previously a senior underwriter for energy & heavy industries at Zurich Commercial Insurance UK, a post that she started at in January 2019.

Before that she was underwriter, energy & technical risks at the company from January 2018 to December 2018, having been an underwriter & strategic analyst, global energy, again at Zurich, from January 2016 to December 2017 in London.

Prior to working for Zurich Gould was treasury manager at Liberty Commodities from March 2011 to September 2014.
