R&Q head of legacy M&A retires

Paul Corver has retired from his position of group head of legacy M&A at Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings.

He held the position from January 2018 to the end of April 2023. The group he led was involved with run-off liabilities from insurers, reinsurers, captives and other self-insurance vehicles either through outright acquisition, novation, transfer, reinsurance or another bespoke solutions.

Before joining R&Q in January 2018 Corver was a director of KMS Insurance Management, a company that he helped to found in 2005.

In a statement on LinkedIn Corver said: “After 38 years in the insurance industry, of which 33 have been in legacy insurance, and with no more than a two week break at any time I retired at end of April 2023. I have had a fabulous journey in this sector, performing a variety of roles from Head of Claims to Head of M&A to CEO and Director positions. It is a fantastic sector full of innovative and dedicated professionals who I will miss.”
