Sazerac appoints new director of risk management

Josh Griswold has been appointed director of risk management at beverage manufacturing firm Sazerac Company.

Griswold was previously global risk & insurance manager at FedEx from December 2019 to May 2023, where amongst other responsibilities he managed two captive insurance companies owned by the company.

Prior to that he was a financial lines manager at Chubb from November 2016 to Apr 2019, where he managed a $20 million+ underwriting portfolio of more than 40 various executive risk, financial lines, cyber/professional liability, and transactional risk products.

He started his career as a commercial risk management / client executive at Hylant from May 2013 to November 2016, where he developed and maintained strategic client relationships by providing risk management services, insurance brokerage solutions and corporate business assessments and collaborated in comprehensive risk evaluation by comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as government/regulatory affairs, legal requirements, and risk appetite.
