The Vermont Captive Insurance Association has added two new captive professionals to its board of directors. Both will take up their posts on the VCIA board in October.
Tracy Hassett is the president and CEO of edHEALTH, the member-owned healthcare collaborative for 20 colleges, universities, and charter schools. She is also president and CEO of Educators Health Exchange, edHEALTH's medical stop loss captive.
Joining Hassett is Jason Palmer, director of global captive practice at Willis Towers Watson. Palmer oversees operations that support more than 175 captives, domiciled in more than 20 jurisdictions, and is responsible for the operations of all US captive management offices in the group. He is also the lead client executive on a portfolio of captive insurance companies, both pure and group.
