Aon appoints new global benefits leader for captives

Zulu Khan (pictured) has been appointed global benefits consulting leader - captives at Aon, based in New York. 

In a statement on LinkedIn he said: “We're seeing incredible momentum in the Captive Employee Benefits space -especially with the growing utilisation of Cell Captives, which are opening up new possibilities for multinational employers.

Khan was previously head of operations & underwriting, Captive EB Services, at Aon from December 2021 to May 2025, based at Paris, Île-de-France, where he specialised in underwriting captive employee benefits risks (life, accident, disability & medical) and focused on simplifying the EB captive migration journey for Aon’s clients

Prior to that he was VP, Client Management at Granite Management, from January 2020 to May 2021, based in Bermuda. He dealt with group medical, life, accident, disability and pension underwriting, successfully implemented benefit design strategies and achieved cost efficiencies and analysed market trends and policy performances to improve corporate oversight of claims administration. Continued ongoing development of Employee Benefit programs in all jurisdictions.

Before that he was head of sales & underwriting at Generali Global Pension from September 2018 to January 2020 in Paris.
