Captive Review launches 2026 Power 50

Captive Review has officially released its full 2026 Power 50 publication , showcasing the most influential professionals shaping the global captive insurance industry this year. The annual ranking, widely regarded as one of the sector’s most respected peer-driven recognitions, features executives, regulators, consultants and captive specialists whose work continues to influence the evolution of the market.

The publication includes the complete countdown from positions 50 through 1, alongside profiles, industry commentary, Hall of Fame inductees and a selection of emerging “Ones to Watch.” Readers can also access thought leadership articles and interviews with several featured executives, offering insight into key trends affecting the captive insurance landscape.

This year’s rankings underline the growing internationalisation of the captive sector, with a notable presence of European-based leaders among the top positions. According to Captive Review’s analysis, the shift reflects increasing momentum in European captive markets and expanding regulatory interest beyond North America.

Leading the 2026 list is Will Thomas-Ferrand, who rose to the number one position after overseeing significant growth at Marsh Captive Solutions. The company reported an increase in captive formations and continued expansion across multiple domiciles under his leadership.

Other high-ranking figures include Marine Charbonnier, recognised for her influence in the expanding French captive market, and Adriana Scherzinger, whose global leadership role reflects the increasing importance of international fronting networks.

The publication also highlights the continued importance of regulators within the sector. Christine Brown entered the top ten for the first time, reflecting Vermont’s ongoing dominance as one of the world’s leading captive domiciles.
