Change of director for Aon Captives
Aon will have a new director of Client Solutions for Aon Captive and Insurance Managers next year.
Current post holder Ciarán Healy is to to take on a broader chief commercial officer (CCO) role at Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) for the EMEA resgion. His remit, which previously was for the Captive and Insurance Management unit will now comprise the full breath of AGRC services including consulting in the areas of risk control and claims, anaytics, business continuity management, enterprise risk management, actuarial, property and casualty, crisis management and captive management.
Healy had been in the role of director of client solutions for Aon's captive and insurance management practice since 2019, having joined from Willis Towers Watson (now WTW) where he was consulting and development leader for their European practice previously. Prior to that he had worked at EY as a consultant for the financial services and advisory business. This is his second stint at AGRC, having been a consultant there near the beginning of his career.
He is succeded in the role by Karl DeGiovanni, currently Director of Client Solutions for Aon Malta's captive and insurance management office, with responsibility for developing captive management in EMEA from January 1, 2023. DeGiovanni has spent the last fourteen years with Aon and is on the board of a number of Aon's captive offerings including their group captive businesses Aon Insurance Managers (Malta) PCC Limited, Whiterock EMEA and Whiterock Netherlands. Prior to taking the reins at Malta, he held senior management positions at Aon's consulting businesses in Gibraltar and Guernsey.
