DeGiovanni appointed as MD at SRS

Karl DeGiovanni has been appointed managing director at Strategic Risk Solutions, based in Malta.

In a statement on LinkedIn he said that is looking forward to working closely with clients and colleagues to drive strategic growth and deliver meaningful impact and that he was eternally grateful for the opportunities that led him there and excited for what lies ahead.

DeGiovanni was previously at Aon, where he worked for just under 18 years. He joined Aon as a financial account manager in February 2008 in the UK. In July 2015 he was appointed deputy general manager of Aon's captive and insurance management office in Malta responsible for client relationship and business development.

He was director of client solutions – EMEA from December 2022 to December 2025, where he was responsible for the generation of new business opportunities for Aon's captive and insurance management business and by extension, Aon's Global Risk Consulting business and Aon as a whole.

Prior to that he was group financial controller & head of information technology at NSTS Malta from May 2005 to Jan 2008.
