FFCE to host second France Captive Forum

The Fédération Française des Captives d'Entreprises (French Federation of Captive Enterprises or FFCE) is organising the second France Captive Forum at Paris Maison de la Chimie, on 16th October 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to the FFCE the event is dedicated to captives in France and is unmissable for all players involved in risk management. This event, hosted by Cécile Desjardins l'Opinion, will bring together a number of stakeholders in the captive ecosystem, including managers dealing with key functions of captives approved in France, risk management directors and financial and legal directors of French and international companies, fronting insurers, reinsurers, brokers, captive managers, actuaries, lawyers and regulators, to discuss the strategic role of reinsurance captives and the advantages of domiciling in France.

The event will take stock of the 2025 trends and will see a presentation on the work of FFCE members on the governance and business model of captives. Attendees will discuss the captive as an essential tool to strengthen the insurability of companies on climate, political and supply chain risks, as well as look at the uses of AI in the insurance and reinsurance sector, and why captives are also concerned.

Finally, the event will discuss ways to develop the attractiveness of captives in France in the face of corporate challenges.
