Gallagher Bassett reshuffles senior executives

Gallagher Bassett has appointed Irina Simpson (pictured left) as executive vice president — workers' compensation.

Ajay Sinha (pictured right), who was previously in the role, has been appointed as managing director — captive practice.

According to the company Simpson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience leading claims, client service, analytics, and operational teams throughout the claims industry. 

“Her passion for the claims profession, process improvement, and front-line engagement makes her the ideal person to lead our best-in-class Workers' Compensation team,” Gallagher Bassett said in a statement.

“Irina is a results-driven leader who brings more than 17 years of industry and leadership experience. Her ideas, perspective, and solutions will help ensure we're meeting and exceeding the needs of the clients, injured workers, carriers, and brokers we serve.
