Health captive Everlong appoints new director of underwriting

Everlong High Performance Health Insurance Captives has promoted Laurie Leaf to director of underwriting.

Leaf joined the Illinois-based member-owned medical captive only in April 2021 and was its regional vice president of service. She has over 30 years’ experience, however, and was previously HBS team manager for broker the Horton Group and spent almost 19 years with JMB Insurance in Chicago, where she was director of benefit solutions.

Everlong provides captive formation of management services for health insurance and, in addition to its Illinois headquarters, has offices in Utah, Texas and Florida.
