Johnson Lambert unveils new governance blueprint

Johnson Lambert, a public accounting and advisory firm working with organisations in the insurance, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan markets, has announced its partner governance and alignment redesign, developed by the firm's executive committee.

According to the company, from January 1, 2027 the new leadership structure gives industry specific growth strategy and practice level execution distinct, dedicated ownership.

The firm appointed five partners to these roles, each bringing established expertise in the industries and practices they will now lead.

Under the new structure, industry leaders will own the growth blueprint, strategy, and market expansion for their business segment, working closely with the firm's practice and business leadership teams to align investment, positioning, and client priorities:

·       Insurance: Allan Autry. A CPA and Tax Partner who has built his practice around captive and commercial insurance clients, named to Captive Review’s 2026 Power 50 and a sought-after speaker at insurance conferences globally.

·       Nonprofit and Employee Benefit Plans (tax exempt markets): Andrea Wright. A CPA and MBA who serves on the firm's Executive Committee and has spent more than two decades serving nonprofit and employee benefit plan clients, earning the Illinois CPA Society’s 2026 Distinguished Service Award.

Practice leaders will own financial performance, staffing, practice innovation, and capability development for their practice area, ensuring consistent delivery and team development across engagements:

·       Audit: Scott Hall. A CPA who has spent two decades leading audit engagements across the firm's insurance, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan clients and has also served two terms on the firm's Executive Committee.

·       Tax: Kregg Guestin. A CPA who leads tax compliance and consulting for commercial and captive insurance clients, named a 2025 Emerging Leader by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association.

·       Advisory: Kim Mobley. A CPA, CISA, and CISSP who leads the firm's IT Assurance and Consulting practice and has spent more than two decades advising boards and audit committees on technology risk.

Both industry and practice leaders report to Brandy Vannoy, managing partner, who will oversee the structure firmwide.

“This redesign reflects a one firm mentality: decisive leadership matched with clear practice accountability and strategic alignment,” said Vannoy. “I have complete trust in the partners stepping into these roles, and their experience sharpens our ability to scale our core capabilities, attract premium talent, and go deeper in the markets we serve. Together, it positions Johnson Lambert for sustained growth for years to come.”

The change follows the firm's 40th anniversary in April 2026 and the August 2026 launch of its Financial & Operations Advisory practice, reinforcing Johnson Lambert's continued investment in its core industries and practice capabilities as part of its strategic growth plan.
