KPMG Bermuda appoints new director

Minesh Ranchod has been promoted to director of reinsurance audit at KPMG Bermuda. Ranchod was previously a senior manager and has been with KPMG on the island since 2013.

Ranchod is the lead audit director for several key firm engagements and serves clients, including insurers and reinsurers, run-off reinsurers, insurance-linked securities funds, and other collateralized reinsurance vehicles captive insurance entities.

He is a member of the firm’s technical committee responsible for monitoring and evaluating developments in accounting and auditing standards and industry and regulatory matters. He is also a member of the firm’s operating committee.

Before joining KPMG, Ranchod worked for three years in Cape Town, South Africa, as an audit clerk with Moore Global, working with clients in the fund management and tourism industries.
