Mark Allitt made head of advisory for KPMG in Bermuda

Mark Allitt has been promoted to head of advisory and regional insurance sector leader at KPMG in Bermuda. Allitt has been with the firm for 13 years, most recently as managing director.

Mark has worked on insurance and reinsurance engagements in over 56 countries and focuses mainly on insurance solutions for global insurance, reinsurance and captive industries.

Writing with his colleague Jonathan Barnes for Captive International last year, Allit said that captives were an increasingly attractive option for businesses as the market hardens.

“The argument for forming a captive has rarely been so compelling,” he wrote.
