L&G names new group CRO

Chris Knight has taken on a new role as group chief risk officer for Legal and General (L&G).

Knight was formerly chief executive officer of L&G’s retail retirement business, a role that has been taken on by Andrew Kail.

Knight joined L&G in 2009 as finance director for the international business. He has held a number of positions at L&G, including chief financial officer for the retirement division, and also serves as a group customer champion.
