Liberty insurance director moves to Invenergy

Marianna Michael, former insurance director at Liberty in Ontario, Canada, has left to join Invenergy LLC, the American based multinational sustainable power generation development and operations company.

Michael has been appointed vice president for insurance at the business.

She joins with over 15 years’ experience. At Liberty, she managed insurance for utility and renewable power generation businesses, including strategic management of captives. Before that, she worked for ten years at brokerage Canfinse Group, where she was vice president and principal broker.

She started her career as a senior claims adjuster with Zurich North America.
