New captive manager appointed by Rocket Companies

Experienced captive owner Fred Driscoll has joined Rocket Companies as a captive insurance manager.

In his new role Driscoll will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan for the existing wholly owned captive insurance subsidiary of Rocket Companies.

Driscoll previously spent over a decade at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, leading its risk financing and captive operations.

The Michigan-domiciled captive programme managed by Driscoll was recognised in 2024 with CICA’s Outstanding Captive Award.

He had spent the last year and a half at Alliant Insurance Services as a sales consultant, before this latest move.

Driscoll has in total spent more than four decades working in the captive insurance and risk management space, including time at Michigan National Corporation, Security Bancorp, The Auto Club Group, The Schumacher Group, Hartford Financial Services Group, and Excellus Blue Cross.
