New regional captive leader at Marsh

Marsh Captive Solutions has promoted Stephen Portelli (pictured) to the position of regional leader for captive solutions in Europe and IMEA. 

In a statement on LinkedIn Will Thomas-Ferrand, who has been global leader of Marsh Global Solutions since January, said: “In this pivotal position, Stephen will guide our efforts to advance our strategic objectives and ensure exceptional service for our clients. 

“Stephen has been an integral part of our team for the past 18 years and will continue to operate out of our Malta office. Congratulations, Stephen, on this well-deserved achievement!”

Portelli has worked for Marsh for 18 years. He joined as a senior vice president in January 2007 and was made international operations optimisation leader in February 2023. He also held the position of regional leader Europe & IMEA captive solutions.

Prior to that he was chief financial officer of Attrad & Co group from 2001 to 2006.
