New regional head for KPMG’s merged Islands group

KPMG has appointed new roles to its Guernsey-based Islands Group.

Neale Jehan, who became the inaugural senior partner following the merger of KPMG in the Channels Islands and Isle of Man last October, will become regional senior partner of KPMG’s Islands Group from October 1. He also joins KPMG’s Europe, Middle East & Africa Board.

He said: “I am delighted to step into the regional role and lead this fantastic grouping of firms. We have worked together for over 20 years and will continue to leverage our knowledge and experience of living and working in island jurisdictions, whilst retaining close links into European and US markets.

“There are common challenges for our jurisdictions in the coming years, but also opportunities to work closer regionally to the benefit of our clients and people.”

Meanwhile, Tony Mancini, current head of tax at KPMG in Guernsey, has been appointed to a new role as office lead there. He has just completed his two year appointment as chair of the Guernsey International Business Association and will ensure the firm’s focus on the local market remain strong.

“It’s a pleasure to take on this role,” he said, “and I am determined to push forward our growth plans for the island, focussing on what we do well and continuing our long standing contribution to the local community.”
