KPMG Caymans appoints new audit partner

KPMG in the Caymans has appointed Gretchen Hammes as a partner. The audit director has been with the firm on the island for over 13 years, joining as an audit supervisor in 2008. Previously she worked for the accountant and consultant in the US for four years in its Kansas, Missouri, office.

Hammes has audit and attestation experience across captive and commercial insurance, as well as manufacturing, multi-national construction contracting, broker-dealers, multi-national and private banking and asset management.

She is both a US certified public accountant and a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Public Accountants.
