Barclays’ Larkin appointed head of captive insurance

Barclays Corporate Banking has appointed James Larkin as global head of captive insurance and head of business development. Larkin, who has been with Barclays Corporate Banking for three years, was promoted from head of business development for captives.

Before that, he was with Barclays Wealth Management for over a decade.

As global head of captives, he will now be responsible for all aspects of the business including people, strategy and delivery. He will continue to report to the Global Head of Strategic Solutions, Faisal Ansari.
