Beecher Carlson names MD of West Coast operations

Beecher Carlson, a specialist insurance broker and captive management services provider, has appointed Keith Newell as managing director of its West Coast operations.

Based in the firm’s Woodlands Hills office, Newell will be responsible for new business strategies for the West coast and will report to Scott Davis, president of property and casualty.

Newell has almost 30 years of experience in insurance and surety, having previously served as a consultant for Infinite Value and managing director at Hub International.

“Keith’s experience and innovative approach with real estate, hospitality, healthcare, construction, and surety exposures expands our risk management capabilities on the West Coast,” said Davis. “He will be a great asset to the team and our clients.”
