Captive expert Masters gets award at ACCC annual meeting

Legal firm Hunton Andrews Kurth is pleased to announce that partner Lorelie Masters was honoured with the Thomas F. Segalla Service Award at the American College of Coverage Counsel’s (ACCC) annual meeting.

ACCC bestows this annual award in recognition of dedication and service to the College. Recipients are recognized for their creativity, visibility and persistence, three characteristics that embody Tom Segalla, ACCC’s first president for whom the award is named.

Insurance coverage litigator Masters helped found ACCC and served as its second President from 2013 to 2014. She advises clients on how to structure insurance programs effectively and on captive insurance and other alternative risk-transfer mechanisms.

She also handles complex, commercial litigation and arbitration for policyholders and has advised clients on a wide range of liability coverages, including insurance for environmental, employment, directors and officers, fiduciary, property damage, cyber, and other liabilities.
