CICA appoints new executive director

Lauren Thomas has been appointed executive director of the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA).

According to CICA she will work closely with president Daniel Towle, the board of directors, committees, staff, and members in managing programs and producing the CICA conference.

Thomas is currently senior account executive at the Harrington Company, which she joined in July of this year, where she provides strategic guidance to client leadership and board of directors ensuring long-term growth, membership development, and sustainability of organisation.

She was previously member services manager at the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards from September 2011 to July 2022.
