Concert promotes into COO role

Concert Insurance Group has promoted Alison Davidsen to the newly created role of chief operating officer.

Davidsen, who joined Concert in July 2022 as vice president, client management and operations, will report to CEO John Hendrickson.

“Alison has demonstrated an impressive ability to balance strategy as well as execution in supporting Concert’s commitment to operational excellence,” said Hendrickson. “Working closely with our managing general agent and third-party administrator partners, she has overseen a successful enterprise-wide initiative that ensures our partners’ experience with Concert is an exemplary one. Her promotion to Chief Operating Officer is not only justly deserved but representative of the industry talent that Concert continues to attract as we execute our plan for profitable growth and development in the fronting sector.”

Davidsen has 25 years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, particularly in the specialty program sector. Prior to joining Concert, she held various management and consulting roles focused on business transformation and operational efficiency.

Davidsen began her career at QBE, where she was responsible for the management of the policy administration, claims and accounting systems used to support QBE’s program business.  She later joined Hudson Insurance Group, a Fairfax company, where she created and managed their program submission review, due diligence and on-boarding processes.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English and Philosophy from Binghamton University, New York as well as the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
