Crowe bolsters Cayman practice with captive auditing hire

Crowe Horwath has appointed Lawrence Kemp as audit assistant manager for its Cayman practice, with a focus on auditing captive insurance companies.

In this role, Kemp will be overseeing all aspects of the audit process, supervising, training and mentoring staff. He will also be involved in business development to assist in furthering the growth of the practice.

Kemp has over five years of experience specialising in auditing captives. He previously held similar captive auditing roles with PwC Cayman Islands and PwC Guernsey.

Crowe's Cayman practice came about around two years ago, with partner Neil Maynard leading the practice.

“Lawrence brings further Cayman captive insurance expertise to our growing practice” said Maynard. “We are delighted to welcome him to Crowe and look forward to introducing him to our clients and prospects.”
