Hill appointed to Apollo board

Independent specialist insurer and reinsurer Apollo Group Holdings has appointed Sian Hill as independent non-executive director of Apollo’s managing agency board.

Hill is a chartered accountant with extensive experience of the banking and insurance sectors. She has spent the majority of her career at KPMG, becoming a tax partner in 1996, specialising in the financial services sector.

According to Apollo in recent years Hill has focused on the insurance market, working with a wide range of international insurance and reinsurance groups, intermediaries and Lloyd’s market participants. Hill is also a non-executive director of Yealand Fund Services, Suffolk Building Society and Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, and a trustee of Place2Be, a leading UK children’s mental health charity.
