Hylant hires industry veteran, expands global captive solutions team
Hylant has hired Erin Hackett and expanded its global captive solutions team with three other appointments.
Hackett has joined Hylant Global Captive Solutions as an account executive.
Hackett, an industry veteran, specialises in auditing captive and traditional insurance companies. She will share her experience in a variety of industries with the captive team and clients.
Hackett served as a controller at Vermont Mutual Insurance Group until September last year. Her previous roles include audit senior manager at Crowe in Burlington, Vermont, and prior to that, senior corporate accountant at Putnam Investments, and senior assurance associate at McGladrey.
In addition, Tara Albright has joined Hylant as senior captive account manager; Brandon Casler is the company’s newest captive account manager; Frank Aubrey joins as a captive underwriter and compliance specialist.
Albright comes to Hylant with over 20 years of experience ranging in areas from insurance to tax and compliance. As the senior captive account manager, she will work closely with clients to develop strategic solutions to their wide range of complex situations.
Casler joins the team as a resourceful problem solver who leverages his communication skills to gain buy-in and build strong cross-functional relationships to produce positive client outcomes. With a strong background in accounting experience in full-service resorts, not-for-profit, government and transportation, Casler will support the accounting for clients’ captive insurance entities and ensure compliance with all legal regulations.
Aubrey brings a wealth of knowledge of the underwriting and compliance space to the captive’s team. With strong experience in strategic planning and risk management, Aubrey will help bring a new perspective to Hylant’s client teams. With more than 15 years of underwriting experience, he will collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and recommend insurance solutions for captives.
Hylant said the appointments aim to support and invest in the increasing needs of clients across the US.
“I am excited about the continued expansion and growth of our team,” said Anne Marie Towle, CEO of Global Risk and Captive Solutions. “We are always looking for the best talent in the industry and finding new ways to grow and innovate.”
