Liberty Mutual expands financial lines team

Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Paul Larson as president, financial lines for its Global Risk Solutions (GRS) North America division.

The company said that Larson, who will report to GRS North America Specialty President Matt Dolan, will drive the continued profitability and growth of an organisation that provides professional liability, management liability, cyber and other solutions to large and mid-size companies through wholesale and retail brokers.

“Paul’s deep experience with financial lines and developing winning teams made him the ideal candidate for this important role,” said Dolan. “His leadership will let us continue to add value to Financial Lines buyers, and the brokers who support them, through a blend of highly effective products, risk control and claims management.”

Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Larson led financial lines at CNA Financial and held several key roles at Chubb.
