New SVP for claims management at Gallagher Bassett

Tim Over has announced he is starting a new position as senior vice president director of business development, specialty claims at Gallagher Bassett, based in Chicago.

At his new position Over will direct sales and marketing of all specialty products and services including healthcare professional liability, professional indemnity (E&O, D&O, EPIL), transportation, construction, healthcare risk management, cyber, and products liability.

Over was previously senior vice president - specialty claims at Sedgwick from February 2007 to August 2023 in the greater Chicago area.

Prior to that he worked for Cambridge Integrated Services for nine years, as national sales manager from  1998-2007 and then also as vice president - professional liability from 2005 – 2007.

According to Over his  core competencies include claims management, claim investigation, captive insurance, and business development.
