Schupak appointed global director at MAXIS GBN

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN), the international employee benefits joint venture between MetLife and AXA, has announced that David Schupak will become director – global relationship management, moving on from his role leading the Western Europe, Middle East and Africa business development teams.

He will continue reporting to Paul Lewis, chief business development officer at MAXIS GBN and will oversee MAXIS GBN’s inbound business development strategy, manage relationships with both global and regional brokers and intermediaries and work closely with Dr Leena Johns to further develop the global health and wellness business development strategy.

“I’m delighted to be taking on this new role,” said Schupak. “I’m very much looking forward to building on already strong relationships with our network, intermediaries and wellness partners. Developing and maintaining these relationships is an extremely rewarding part of the job and I’m excited to continue working with the amazing people I’ve known for more than a decade, while building new partnerships with those I’ve not had the chance to work with yet.”

Schupak has over 25 years’ experience working in the global employee benefits industry. He started his career working with AIG in 1998 in New York and Peru, followed by several years throughout both Latin America and Europe, which eventually resulted in the transition to MAXIS GBN in 2010.
