Glen Trenouth is retiring from his position of managing partner at BDO in the Cayman Islands.
Trenouth set up BDO in Cayman in Oct 2002 after working for four years with BDO in the British Virgin Islands.
His last day will be on Friday September 29. His replacement and BDO’s new managing partner will be James George.
Trenouth told Captive International added that in retirement he intends to go travelling, especially to sporting events like the Olympics, football (Euros and World Cup) and Wimbledon), do a chefs course, get a golf handicap, learn Spanish, play chess and learn a second musical instrument.
25 June 2026 Greg Lang, founder of the Reinsurance and Insurance Network (RAIN), continues his look at the numbers in the captive insurance industry, this time focusing on captive managers.
