VCIA unveils keynote speakers for annual conference

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCCIA) has announced who will be giving its keynote speeches at its upcoming annual conference.

Juliette Kayyem Harvard Professor, CNN National Security Analyst, Pulitzer Prize Finalist, & Former Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security will be giving a speech on the topic of "After the 'Boom': Building Resiliency in the Age of Mayhem".

Kayyem will provide lessons learned from years spent managing the nation’s most pressing disasters. Juliette draws on her experiences handling such crises as the BP Oil Spill and the H1N1 Outbreak to deliver strategies risk management professionals in all sectors can bring back to their organisations.

The other keynote speaker is Jeff Kreisler, head of behavioural science at JP Morgan. According to VCIA he is also a best-selling author and former stand-up comedian.

Kreisler’s speech will be on: "Motivate This: Behavioural Insight on Engagement, Incentives, and Motivation", in which he will explain what forces impact productivity, satisfaction, motivation and relationships with and at work.
