Robus signals growth ambitions in Guernsey with two hires

Robus, the independent insurance management, fiduciary and financial advisory group, has hired Laura Boyd as an insurance manager and Martin Bourgaize as corporate services and insurance manager.

Boyd has responsibility for the underwriting and claims management across a portfolio of clients and will also be assisting with business development. She is based in Guernsey and joins from Rossborough.

Bourgaize also joins Robus in Guernsey. He previously held a company secretarial role at Northern Trust, with this new role giving him broader secretarial responsibilities across Robus.

Both hires are the result of growth among Robus’ client base over the past year, the company said, and reflect its ambition to win more business across the group.

Jamie Polson, general manager for Guernsey at Robus, called the pair “excellent hires who strengthen our resource and will enable us to grow even further in Guernsey and beyond.”
