Stonybrook Capital & Risk Management has announced the recent addition of two new executives.
Kevin Miller has joined as senior vice president and will assist the team in expanding its capacities in capital raising and advisory efforts, and especially as it respects mutuals, surplus notes and separately, insurtech.
Miller joins from Goldman Sachs and prior to that, he spent five years at JP Morgan.
Stonybrook Capital has also hired Daniel Hughes as an analyst. Hughes graduated from Indiana University in May of 2022 where he studied finance and business analytics
“I could not be prouder of the team we have built and the quality of the talent we already have and are bringing on board,” said Joseph Scheerer, principal and chief executive of Stonybrook. “With each additional team member, I get even more bullish on our ability to provide world class service to our clients. As the rest of Wall Street is retrenching, Stonybrook is growing even more.”
