SCIA to launch inaugural Asia Pacific Captive Forum
The Singapore Captive Insurance Association (SCIA) has announced the launch of the Asia Pacific Captive Forum (APCF) 2026, a new regional platform designed to bring together captive owners, risk leaders, regulators and service providers to address the evolving captive insurance landscape in Asia Pacific. The forum will take place on 2 July 2026, at New Bahru School Hall (Level 2), Singapore.
Designed as a high-quality, decision-maker forum, APCF 2026 will convene a diverse audience, bringing together captive owners and risk leaders from Asia Pacific and beyond, including multinationals, large regional groups and growth-stage firms, alongside captive managers, brokers, reinsurers, consultants and fronting partners active in the region.
The forum will also engage professional advisors across legal, tax, audit, actuarial and governance disciplines, as well as regulators and policymakers from captive domiciles around the world.
“As captives take on a more strategic role in how organisations manage and finance risk, there is a growing need for a dedicated regional platform that reflects the realities of Asia Pacific. Through APCF, SCIA aims to connect captive owners, risk managers, regulators and service providers across geographies, facilitate the sharing of practical insights and market developments, and strengthen collaboration between established and emerging captive jurisdictions, with a strong focus on actionable learnings,” said Kelvin Wu, President of the Singapore Captive Insurance Association.
