Sequoia Risk hires new risk management director
Sequoia Risk Partners, which helps agents and brokers provide alternative risk-transfer structures including captives, has unveiled a new risk management director.
Chris Cozzens was previously a director at Western Property & Casualty Insurance, which was acquired by runoff specialist RiverStone in August.
Before that, he held a number of senior risk management roles in Sinclair Oil Corporation culminating in vice president of risk management.
In a statement, Sequoia said: “Chris brings to SRP more than 27 years of experience in risk management policies & procedures. He is a licensed claims adjuster in sevens states with broad experience in many aspects of both risk management and captive consulting. He joined the firm after working as the Director of Risk Management at Sinclair Oil Corporation.
