Hylant expands employee benefits offering in Indiana with acquisition

Hylant has acquired Cobalt Benefits, expanding its employee benefits services in the Elkhart, Mishawaka and South Bend communities of Indiana.

Cobalt Benefits is a boutique agency that has served the Elkhart community for almost 20 years. It specialises in self-funding and partial self-funding, along with traditional medical, dental, vision, life and disability brokerage services.

By joining forces with Hylant, it has expanded its offering to include property and casualty, M&A, captive solutions, cybersecurity solutions, and personal insurance.

Hylant said it plans to add more employees to the Indiana teams, with recruits in sales, client service, claims, captive services and mergers and acquisitions.
