Ironshore promotes new president for its healthcare unit

Ironshore Insurance has named a new president of IronHealth, its healthcare unit.

Dennis Cook joined Ironshore in April 2016 and has more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He was formerly chief liability officer at IronHealth, a role he has held since June 2018. Before that he was a product line manager for IronHealth.

He previously spent nearly 12 years at AIG and Lexington Insurance, latterly as a product line manager for senior care.

In his new role Cook assumes responsibility for growing the IronHealth business, which provides specialty healthcare liability solutions to hospitals, healthcare providers, managed care organisations, life science companies, senior care facilities and self-insured employer health plans.
